Out of the Box Cafe

I lost count of how many times we have dined here. Kada dismissal dito kami dumidiretso. Vacant hours, dito din. My friends and I shared a lot of memories here.

Indeed a nice place to hang out with your barkada! Frappes being offered are a 10/10.

As for beverages, we always order Coffee Jelly Frappe, Vanilla Oreo Frappe, Vanilla Oreo w/ Coffee Frappe, and Blueberry Smoothies.

They also offer rice meals, we always order Beef Salpicao and Chicken Ala King. And as for the snacks and appetizers, Cheese Sticks (A MUST TRY!), Calamares, and French Fries.

It was our first time going here. Upon entry, the place has a good ambiance and atmosphere to it. The staff were very accommodating and friendly as we didn't know at first how to order (since it's our first time going). But, the staff told us to settle on a spot first and then use the qr code to order. Pretty neat and hassle free ordering if you'd ask me.

The food is very nice and delicious, not gonna lie. The frappe and carbonara is a must try. Though for me, the price doesn't match the quality and quantity of the food. Now, I'm not an expert in managing prices, but I guess, if they're able…

Their coffee tastes like one of those coffees that you can buy for ₱39-59. Food was so-so for its price though medyo malaki ang serving so filling naman. Place is perfect for couples and friends na gusto mag catch up at landian since medyo may privacy each cubicle. Definitely not work friendly since it tends to get super noisy like may sumisigaw level of ingay. It was hot inside when I visited and the wifi was also not working and when it did, super slow siya to the point I can't even send a message via messenger. Staffs were accommodating and nice though!

I had a terrible experience at this cafe. My friend and I ordered a drink and I specifically asked if the drink was non-coffee based. They assured me it was. However, when my order (which arrived quite late) finally came, it tasted strongly of coffee. I immediately flagged it to them, but instead of apologizing, they simply said they "misheard" and thought I’d asked if it was coffee-based. No responsibility taken, no offer for a replacement, and not even a refund. Very disappointing and completely unacceptable, especially with a serious allergy involved. Would not recommend.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. We specifically asked if a drink we ordered was non-coffee based. The staff clearly assured us it was coffee-free, so we ordered confidently. But when the drink arrived, it unmistakably tasted like coffee! Note that my friend, who’s supposedly to whom the drink was for, is allergic to coffee.
