Went to this cafe on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The building they are in, Summer Pines, has ample parking out front, so it's very convenient to go to. Best to go here on a clear day, so you can take full advantage of their awesome view. We had coffee - Cafe Latte and Cappuccino. Both were good. Their Melty Nachos were also good. Wish they would consider realigning their tables so they can seat more people. But I'm not complaining, as I get to enjoy their place with less people in it. 1986 is an aesthetically pleasing place that oversees the beautiful view of Baguio, that alone is a big plus for both locals and tourists. Swak for barkadas, couples, families, you name it. The food and drinks are amazing and worth the price. 1986 has truly put their own twist and signature to each of those listed in their menu. The staff are great. The view from the cafe is amazing, we ate here late afternoon so we caught the sunset. Place is accessible, it's located at 2/F Summer Pines Residences, Marcos Highway. It was a bit hot inside the cafe when we visited, even with the windows opened. They had one tower fan but it was not turned on. They have a sign notifying their customers that they are short staffed but our orders came out verrrry quickly. We got the creamy beef, biscoff latte, and white choco frappe.
