Visit 70's Kimchi here at Shangri la and have a taste of their korean specialty foods and best selling beef stew!
This place is located in the food court of Shangri-la plaza which is at the basement level. This place used to be called kimchi decades ago and I've been eating here since the early 90's. Their OG beef stew is killer and addictive.
Fifty years and still going strong. Value for money portions. Consistently satisfying. No one does stir fried togue like them. At P20 for a side serving, it's a healthier option than rice. Libreng sabaw is a thoughtful touch.
Good beef bulgogi - tender and savory
Grew up eating this in the 90’s when they still had a stall in the Landmark food court and was simply called “Kimchi”. They’re back as 70’s Kimchi with a spot in the Shang food court. Their OG beef stew still tastes the same after all these years, still with a generous serving of the bean sprouts. Medyo kulang ang isang rice lang if you get the large beef stew 😊
Me and my wife appreciate the food of Kimchi. Since my wife loves Korean foods specifically kimchi she said the taste is nice because they didn't over power the spicy of it. No seasoning is perfect for those who are monitoring there calories. 10/10
