After a day of archery in Ayala Circuit Mall, I decided to take a chill and relax at 78 - 45 - 33, a jazz bar located at LVL mansion, San Agustin Street, Salcedo Village, Makati. I can't forgive myself for only discovering this now after having lived in this neighborhood for 8 months. It’s a cozy jazz joint in an area safe enough for a late night stroll. I appreciate the late opening hours that way I can have a respite here after a full day of work. I think i will be here a few times a week moving forward. I loved the jazz music and the drinks. So far i have tried the Hendricks Martini, Hemingway Daiquiri and Moscow Mule. All were spectacular. Classy mix. Always passing by here and saw the sign in the night but didn’t know it’s a bar until my friend invited me to join for a good social chat. The door is right at the entrance of the hall way. I am sure there are a lot of people is asking. Don’t sit beside the door sofa which is closer to the wall if you can’t handle the air conditioner that blows right at ya. Has a great chat and good night.

Went to one of the jazz events (Kiss the Bride) and that was really great. I love the ambiance of this place. Although.. they really need to up their game with the cocktails and the bar food. Cocktails are not special and their wedges will be helped by adding salt and not burning it. Would come back for the jazz though.

Was there very briefly for the jazz performance and drinks; will definitely go back and arrive earlier to get seats and try some of their food. The place was cozy, definitely chill vibes. I can imagine it gets packed most nights; it's a good thing the staff let us in.
