It was my first time eating here in Abaseria and really hits me with nostalgia. The Cafe’s interior felt like your house in the 90’s. Tons of stuff that you can buy and actually supports local goods. The food was actually surprising, it doesn’t have that much of a presentation but it really tastes good! especially the talong / eggplant. I was mindblown by it. Location wise, it’s a residential area which you can really feel safe and warm. If you bring a car, parking is kinda hit or miss. The area is easily get packed especially with a Pizza shop that has recently opened besides Abaseria. So …

I really wanted to love this place. Ambiance was cozy, but the food was ok. We had ordered in advance before coming to the restaurant and when we arrived, it still took 45 minutes for our dishes to come out and they missed one dish and tried to charge us for it. So if you plan to try out this place, definitely come with plenty of time & patience. Overall, experience was ok, the local souvenirs and hand woven bags are beautiful to look at, but I will not be coming back.

Feels like home. The plaze is cozy, food is good. Always going back for the mongos (mung bean) soup. Portions are worth the price and quick reservations are always welcome

28/02/24 - Visited Cebu and had to come to Abaseria. The food here is always awesomely tasty. The decor is quaint with heritage and family history of the owner including local merchandises. Very tasty wholesome Filipino foods. Staff ever so friendly and polite. Salamat very much! This is our go to for authentic tasty fine dining of Filipino food each time we visit Cebu. Feel good ambience with Filipino culture décor. Nice ornaments and souvenirs reflecting the character and culture of Cebu, The Philippines and their lovely people.

Great place to dine. Very nostalgic. It's like you are in a time capsule. They serve a great selection of Filipino dishes. Almost all their stuff inside the resto is for sale. Perfect for family, friends and a place to date.
