So good that this hidden jewel survived the pandemic! Located at the corner of 3/F, one wouldn’t imagine there’s a good Japanese restaurant located a bit remotely but I actually like the secluded atmosphere away from the crowd. Food is good, reasonably priced with attentive staff ready to serve. We like it here before and we still like it now. Can’t make up your mind what to eat? There’s sooo much to choose from. Enjoy!
We chanced upon this place last April 8, 2023 when my friend celebrated his birthday with me. There were only 2 of us and we ordered the following: Chashu Ramen California Maki Been Noodles The food was surprisingly authentic and delicious. Although it just takes longer time compared to other ramen houses. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait. The ambience is also very cozy and homy with a slight tinge of real Japanese ramen house. We dropped in looking for soup & discovered this little place also offers sushi & a lot more than just soup. The waitress was great & the food came to everyone’s table quickly that I noticed. Piping hot soup was just what I wanted & needed to dinner. Seating was comfortable and I had a very nice experience. I will definitely be back here!

And Ajisen did not disappoint me - even if the place is known for its ramen. From the fresh sashimi and delicately vinegared rice sprinkled with nori strips to the amount served, it really was something satisfying and worth it. And I just got so excited with the shiitake and ebi tempura I had to order it as well (hefty servings, great taste and so, so affordable!)…one of the best (and less expensive) Japanese meals…
Because it rains in the afternoon and early evening here in Manila, I sometimes find myself craving for some ramen. Well, even if it doesn’t rain i always crave for some ramen. 😁Because I live near a mall, there’s always an abundance of restaurants to try there. Lately, almost all of the restaurants in Robinson’s Place Manila are Japanese, Korean or Chinese. So you won’t tun out of Asian restaurants to try. Anyway, this was the shoyu ramen from Ajisen Ramen. Ajisen Ramen is a Japanese restaurant tucked away in a corner of the second floor of Robinson Manila. I have always seen the place but …
