I decided to try Aling Consuelo's Halo-Halo after hearing so much hype, but I was left disappointed. The experience felt overrated, especially after seeing influencers rave about it. Honestly, there's nothing special about the halo-halo here. Maybe it’s considered the best in Tondo, but beyond that, there are plenty of better options elsewhere. The constant hard-selling by the staff also made the experience uncomfortable. They were pushy, which took away from what should have been a relaxed dessert stop. Overall, I don’t think it lives up to the hype.

A famous halo halo here in Manila and I must say it didn’t disappoint. Quite affordable and it is not super sweet, they are generous with the topping and the ice is shaved well. Very delicious and you can tell why it’s popular! They also sell budget meals which is a nice touch.

The place is originally one stop shop for main course foods and desserts. But for some family reasons (idk) they decided to compete each other using the same Brand Name. I witnessed how it (halo-halo) changed, from 45pesos, 55 pesos 65, and its 70 pesos. Nice tip, buy in the middle store. For me thats the best halo halo there is Ugbo. Quick trivia, the long food alley you are seeing on socmed is not Ugbo. Its Varona street.

Sobrang hype ng mga vloggers neto pero upon tasting it for me it just regular for me.. Milk used is not alaska, im sure of it. Pero if you are looking for afforadable halo2 good na to aa ugbo food crawl mo. Pero dnt expect much being the best, no to for me like na commercial vloggers na lahat nalang masarap. Peace, ☺️

There are two Aling Consuelo in Ugbo and they are located right beside each other. Facing the restaurant, the one on the left is the one that has been featured many times by vloggers etc. Service took about 10 minutes or less. The dine-in area is inside the house. Would need to go through their alley-like prep area to get to the dining. Place was warm even at 9pm. Now the halo halo was very disappointing. It was out of this world sweet. Being a first timer i dont know if it was just normal or they really take their sugar up a notch. Ended up not finishing the halo halo. The ingredients wer…
