Passed by and was curious so we decided to have dessert at Aperitif. We got their gelato (pistachio for me and blueberry yogurt for mom) and chocolate chip cookie. Yuuum!
We tried their high tea set at SM North EDSA. Everything was good, especially for the price. The only downside is that they don’t offer service water, which is surprising for a dessert shop that offers dine-in. The dining area felt a bit cramped with only five tables, and the lighting wasn’t the best. Despite that, we enjoyed the experience and might return, but to a different branch.
food presentation and interior is very french. although the place is a bit small compared to neighboring cafes. coffee is nothing special. i ordered matcha latte and my daughter cold latte, gelato, croissant and cookie. the rate is a bit pricey for the taste. the order-taker/cashier needs a bit of polishing (customer relations wise). considering the place to be a bit classy. i was expecting her to be like one too. because while we were standing choosing for food to eat. she hurried us and wanted to take our order right away even though there were no other customers but us. so we were panick…
Ordered for take out.. We went there fairly early hence there are no people around and the display cabinet are full. Despite that, the 3 people in service are not attentive and just keep talking to each other, one seemed annoyed that I'm ordering... They did not repeat my order to me and I had to repeat my order myself for them not to miss anything. As I ordered for take out, I checked my ordered items (knafeh chocolate, 1 choco creme croissant, 1 pistachio croissant and 2 pistachio cannoli) and is missing an item (the pistachio knafeh chocolate)... good thing I did cause I don't want to go …
Jul 2023: It's a newly opened dessert shop. The desserts looks nice but not that delicious. The Reese's Peanut Butter and Chocolate Macadamia cookies tasted ordinary. The Lemon Sorbet is not tangy and the Chocolate Matilda Cake is underwhelming, it tastes like a premix cake mix. Their prices are so over the top. We paid P1k++ for these disappointing desserts. And their bottled water is from SM. Unfortunately, we didn't finish any of it. ☹️ The place is nice but small, they only have 6 round tables that are cramped together in one row.
