A small cozy cafe inside the Robinsons Place ermita where I ordered my favorite local delicacy in my home town in Iloilo, which is the La Paz Batchoy. It was so far the nearest taste of the Original La Paz Batchoy that I've had from the other restaurants that offered the same dish. I gave a 5 star rating for the food because I don't need to travel to find my favorite local food 😊 and I recommend you try the La Paz Batchoy here guys 😁. The cafe/restaurant is small for big occasions and the area is somehow relaxing if you just want to have lunch/dinner with a friend or two 👍.
Surprisingly, I was amazed by the pakbet with bagnet served with bagoong rice I had here this evening. Thinking that this was just one of those Filipino restaurants, I assumed that only the ordinary would be served…the food was much to my delight! The place is cozy and my server had this charming personality in spite of the ubiquitous face mask. I was also able to try the lumpiang Ecija which was also good! I believe I will be back here to taste more of what they are offering. All of a sudden, Nueva Ecija food had found a spot in my taste buds and tummy!
Two of my fave foods in here are their Pinakbet Bagnet and Crispy Binagoongan. Their servers were very attentive and accommodating. I usually dine here most of the time even their price is a bit high compared to other restaurants as I liked their Crispy Binagoongan that much.
5 star for their food it was really good 👍
Big servings, which is a plus. Tasty food but kinda dry. I ate here like 1 or 2 weeks ago during lunch with my friends.. They ordered arroz caldo but was dissatisfied with the chicken pieces kasi they don't taste like chicken daw. I ordered the pancit one with pieces of bagnet and it was ok but as I've said, kinda dry. Snobby staff, ignoring customers on purpose... I was respectfully asking one server (she was facing me) for the bill but she ignored me and went to the table behind me, no apologies, no coming back to me to clarify my concerns. I was so confused, I was nothing but polite durin…
