A very cozy place for dining at Bahay Ng Alumni, with reasonable prices for the beef tapa that we ordered. You will find artwork, paintings and sculptures and other collectibles. And coffee came with the meal so yeah, it was a pleasant visit to this place .
Went here for breakfast and the place really appealed to me. It has a great laid-back ambiance resembling a rustic coffee shop decorated with plenty of different paintings. The food is decent for its price. I was able to try their beef tapa, grilled porkchop, dark chocolate molten lava cake, special blend iced tea, and hazelnut sagada coffee. Everything was above average for me except for the tapa that still had some cartilage in it served with a very moist garlic rice.
A cozy café with an art gallery nestled at the side of UP Bahay ng Alumni. The place opens up at 9am. If you're doing some runs early in the morning around UP Oval, you'll need to wait for a bit if you're planning to get breakfast in this place. You can browse the art pieces on display while waiting for your meal, some of them are on sale too. The place has a nice ambience and you can seat on the outdoor tables for fresh air. Adobo*** flakes were so crunchy, i was expecting something more chewy. Coffee here is okay lang din.
