A unique place for artists and art enthusiasts. There is nothing quite like it anywhere in the country. Started in 2004 by Charlie Co and Bong Lopue, it is now a household name in Bacolod and Negros in general.
Art District is a vibrant spot filled with artistic murals and cozy restaurants, perfect for those with an eye for art or anyone who loves taking creative photos. The small shops and unique designs make it worth a visit. However, the place could use better maintenance, and the atmosphere feels a bit lacking. Still, it’s a great location for snapping some artsy shots if you’re in the area.
I am actually expecting too much before I plan to go and see the actual Art District. Though I am impressed by the murals in every wall that even Barber shop, cafe, cafeteria has a mural and life size statue. The place is a bit old now and paints were somehow faded. It was like an abandoned place in the noon time, good thing that students were present practicing dance steps and some sort of a gathering today (its Holiday today in PH). Many choices for food, snacks and drinks There are outlets for burgers, pasta, pizza and chicken For recreation; videoke and billiard tables are just around the corner. You may also take some time to be amazed and appreciate the expressions of art within the vicinity. Good escape from the busy feels of the city
Overrated. Nothing Spectacular or worth going to except if you want to get some booze and hang out. Too nice in fb but actual is something I wouldn't have gone to had I known it was just that. 😓 Sorry.
