Great local place right off the touristy newport blvd. We tried the Kare Kare (crispy pork belly), fried chicken and a dish with crispy minced meat with a fried runny egg on top and chillies (apologies for not remembering the local names). Amazing flavours, nothing was over-seasoned, artificial or overly spicy and everything was freshly cooked. The staff helped us to order by showing us photos of the dishes on their phone. The place was full of young locals. Would totally recommend it if you are staying at the airport area near terminal 3, seek a bit of a local taste and are willing to go 5…
Finally able to try the crispy karekare. It was so good. The sauce was so creamy and nutty. For its price, it’s really worth it. I’d definitely come back again.
My 2nd time to visit as I ate one evening when staying at New port before flying out of NAIA. Delicious Kare Kare, has a genuine peanut taste to it, good consistency also. Ordered two fried eggs as a little extra for my partner and I. Definitely worth the visit, the costs are very reasonable also. Will return again! Salamat sa team!
We have just had our first meal in the Philippines and this place has set the bar really high! Everything was UTTERLY delicious and the staff was super friendly and nice! Btw, the Kare Kare was looking so good we didn't even wait to take the picture!!! (Sorry!!)
Delicious and soft pork for the Kare-Kare. The sisig was alright and the serving is enough for 1 person. You can see the kitchen and there is an cr and faucet Parking is on the street and can accommodate 2 cars
