Mercato gives you lots of food choices ranging from street foods, rice meals, seafood, juicy steaks, drinks, and dessert stalls. It's clean, fairly walkable despite the crowd. You just have to be quick with finding seats since it's really hard to find one during peak hours.
The food fair ambience is really good as it entices you to roam around and check every food stall. The food is pretty good ranging from moderate to expensive. The barbecued meat is very delicious, so is the bottled juices which are cheap but does taste very good. The Cajun style meat, the garlic sotanghon, and the shawarma are delicious as well.
Lots of food choices from street foods, pasta, rice meals, drinks and desserts. Foods are available for dine-in and take away. There are tables however the desinated dine-in place is fully occupied during peak hours. It is open weekly every Wednesday to Friday at 6PM til 3AM. Really chill place to have late eats with your pals near BGC. Bring cash as they don't take plastic. Come early too if you wanna have good seats as it's packed during peak hours. There's something for everyone who considers themelves a foodie.
I sometimes crave for barbecue and "isaw". I'm so glad Mercato is just within BGC and is a stone's throw away from where I live. Being away from home, I find myself longing for the typical street food found in my hometown. The grilled barbecue and isaw became my comfort food. The vinegar concoction is yummy and it complements the bbq so well 😋. You can find a variety of dishes here. So if you find yourself wondering what to eat, just walk around and check from one stall to the other and you'll whet your appetite!
