This was one of my usual places to go to for our band practice back in early 2000s. This is a favorite hangout place of famous local bands back in the day. My recent visit here though was for a quick lunch because they do serve short orders and I always end up coming back for their humba rice paired with a cold mountain dew. After all these years, I'm extremely glad the taste of their Humba Rice has remained consistent (more or less).

I ordered humba rice and it was superb..chef kiss. The serving was in a huge bowl, it was worth the price(fyi it's affordable here). The place has good ambiance. You can feel the lutong bahay ni nanay vibe as you dine in here.

Backyard Studio exceeded my expectations in every way! The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are attentive and friendly. The humba rice dish was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. It's definitely a must-try for anyone visiting. Additionally, the band rehearsal space provided everything we needed and more. The equipment was top-notch, and the acoustics were fantastic, allowing us to have a productive and enjoyable rehearsal session. Overall, Backyard Studio delivers above satisfactory service and experiences that keep me coming back for more.

Their humba rice is great, and you can drink beer here too! Too bad their practice instruments are really crappy.
