During our last day in Bacolod, our group decided to buy pasalubong before returning to Manila. The name “Bailon’s” came up in the discussion because my Dad requested their famous piaya as pasalubong. So we took the longer airport route in order to pass by the place. Located along 17 San Sebastian St, Barangay 13, they are known for their handmade piaya, fresh lumpia, chicken-filled empanada, succulent siopao, and mouth-watering pancit molo. Every event at home there is Baillon. We greatly favor the pancit molo and the ever delicious, nostalgic "fresh lumpia nga wala ga lubad!" We never miss this in every 25 December family reunion. But no delivery, just pick up in their Makati place.
