This place has the potential to be a favorite in the area. Really reminded me of some of the food we tried in Bali. We tried their nasi kotak indonesian set and it was goood. The rendang jawa was decent, bit heavy though so good for sharing. Their aloe vera quencher was good, i think i'll order this a lot here. Iced jasmine tea is also good and is included in the set. Will definitely come back to try their other bestsellers- curry and noodle dishes.
Bakmi Nyonya Table is a hidden gem for those craving authentic Indonesian flavors. From the moment you step inside, the warm and cozy ambiance makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming and eager to recommend dishes that suit your palate. The star of the menu is, of course, their bakmi—perfectly cooked noodles with a delightful chewy texture, served with a variety of savory toppings that burst with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the Bakmi Ayam, which was rich and comforting. Their other dishes, like the Nasi Goreng and Gado-Gado, also deserve special mention for their ba…
My tastebuds were no match for Bakmi Nonya. Tastebuds were overpowered with flavor and sizzling presentation. The noodle dish with the plain doritos were fantastic. I can't believe I just called them doritos. You see, I'm apparently not as cultured as some fancy pants reviewers here. I'm just a tambay at Assembly Grounds. I recommend Bakmi if you're craving Indonesian dishes, without flying to Indonesia. I mean who wants to go through NAIA?
Tried this new resto at the Assembly Grounds in Makati. We ordered Beef Satay (very tender and well spiced), Grilled Chicken (also very tender), Gado Gado (the lettuce leaves didn't work overall. I remember in Jakarta that these are supposed to be mainly cut-up veggies that you can eat with a stick), Chicken Soup (tastes good but can be richer), and Pandan Rice Dessert (the best 👌). Overall, quality of food is very good. Prices are a bit high for the portion sizes and this being a casual restaurant. Service can be better trained-- I guess they're still adjusting since they just opened. Will d…
❎Serving time is 30~ minutes for 2 orders of fried rice (best sellers) for 280 PHP each. Restaurant is half full that time. Different servers asked twice if we already have our own orders because the orders took long and we looked like we were just hanging around there. ✅Servers are nice. ❎Food was okay. Was expecting more umami. Seafood - has two pieces of whole shrimp, no bits of squid nor shrimp Chicken - has around 100 grams of cubed chicken breast ❎The problem was how the rice was cooked. There were a LOT of lumps of rice on both meals. The meal became a combination of fried rice and…
