First time to try an authentic La Paz Batchoy in Iloilo and it did not disappoint me at all. I admit that I’m a bit intimidated at first as the atmosphere is similar to tuto turo restaurants but I was blown away when I took a sip of the broth! Rich porky broth, firm thin noodles and overloaded toppings! Man! 100% recommended! They offer unlimited refill of the batchoy soup! Sheeesh

Arrived in Iloilo at around 10am, and this is where our tour driver brought us for brunch. Coming from Manila, my friends and I were surprised at how affordable their batchoy is. Big serving for 1 person, and they offer unli sabaw as well. I normally don't eat that much lamanloob ng baboy but this was so good that I finished almost everything, even scraping the bone which I normally don't do. Best part is that the owners were so accommodating and friendly. A must try. 💛

your go to carinderia in Iloilo, no pretense, what you see is what u get. Authentic la paz batchoy. They also have a cute and malambing cat named Swirti :)

Should be your first stop when you get to Iloilo. Really great batchoy with thick broth. Pairs well with their puto. Even when it's hot outside the batchoy is just perfect. They also have silog (rice meals for breakfast) and beef pares (braised beef Filipino style). Will absolutely come back! Highly recommended.
