First time eating at Banana Leaf. We ordered samosa, garlic and cheese roti with curry sauce and condensed milk, char kway teow, crispy kangkong, mixed veggies, tilapia, pork ribs, nasi lemak and nasi goreng. For the drinks we had the iced teh tarik ( which i definitely love), and lemon grass with honey. We didnt order dessert coz we were too full with the main dish. I love the roti and the curry sauce and char kway teow the most. The taste is close to the authentic dish. Not pricey, we only paid less than 5k pesos, we were too full and we even had take home. It's been a long time since I've dined at a Banana Leaf. Southeast Asian cuisine has a special place in my heart. The Malayan Seafood Laksa had a variety of ingredients. Nasi Goreng was splendid! Furthermore, the Deep Fried King Fish with Mango was very good! The Turnip Cakes were a bit too oily, but I managed to finish it. Thank you cooks and staff!

Food has always been good here, not the top but definitely better than most Malaysian places. I won’t hesitate to return. The Pad See Ew was ok, the tofu strips were big. I will probably try something else next time. The roti was excellent, gooey, fresh and warm when it was served. The chicken curry was also flavourful, not too spicy and with depth. Plates are banana leaves, which makes dining fun. Service is attentive and quick. The place can do with more cleaning and organization so that eating is a pleasure, especially in the area leading to the kitchen.
