This is the first time I've come across an establishment charging for parking at Banawe. On top of this, the approach is too steep so if you're driving a sedan, you'll scape your vehicle's chin. They can't even design it properly yet they're charging 40 as if it's a mall. What a joke! I'll never go back there. I hope they will one day decide to fix their silly pay parking scheme.
It’s a nice building but parking in the basement truly was a pain in the you know what. People seated in the backseat had to get out before you park the car in the tiny slot because otherwise, they wouldn’t be able to get out at all. But I guess that’s better than no parking slots at all. Parking fee was 20 pesos if you have validation.
The parking is really atrocious. My friend's tires got a flat because the platforms are so narrow and the edges are sharp enough to pop the tires. I've also had a lot of difficulty parking because of the narrow spacing and you will really be prone to damaging your car with the parking spaces provided. It is as if the management deliberately designed the parking space to be this small to cut on costs.
The absolute worse parking that I have ever experienced. 2 or 3 attempts to successfully park a car. Following the man who shall act as your guide to park the car. You will be unable to fully open your door to disembark or board. To exit. It is the same way because their parking has 2 forks and the forks are protruded. If you have trouble understanding what I mean. Try it out for a unique experience in parking misery. Add a 50pesos or 35 pesos parking validation and you truly deserve a one star. I can only imagine the inconvenience if there is more volume in vehicle traffic.
Terrible parking design Update 2017-07-31 Still terrible parking system after more than a month of "improvements" and now charges guest an insane 40pesos for first 3hrs. Yes, they charge you 40pesos for a parking system that could get your car scratched and dent because of insanely narrow passage and turns. If you brought a van you can kiss your paint job goodbye. Land cruiser drivers should have excellent driving skills because you have probably 25mm of error to spare.
