I recently dined at Barcino in Vertis North, and overall, I had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, perfect for a night out. The standout of the evening was definitely the food—each dish was delicious and full of flavor. However, I did find the prices a bit steep for the portion sizes, which were on the smaller side. On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed our margaritas; they were refreshing and well-crafted, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite the pricing concerns, the overall experience was awesome, and I would recommend it for a fun night o…
Good food. It is impossible not to compare it to Las Flores, however, which offers a similar menu, and Parmigiano which also offers paellas. Barcino's calamares - onion rings dish is mixed into one dish which is confusing and doesn't make sense. Pasta is the worst. They, however, have better conchinillo than Las Flores and the best croquettes. Parmigiano's paellas is the best of the three mentioned restaurants, despite proclaiming it is an Italian restaurant. Their pasta is also the best. Las Flores makes better paellas than Barcino and make unique takes on familiar dishes. Their mixed pla…
The place and service is good. The food is also good! Had dine here a couple of times already. The Sopas De Pescado tasted good, not too salty but a bit bland and not much seafood inside the soup. So I rate this 4/10 since I am dismayed with the price of the soup The Paradise Sangria is good! Must try when you dine here! Macarrones Espinacas, the serving is good for two if you don’t eat much. The taste is normal, a bit dry, and nothing special; although they said it’s the best seller pasta.
I do generally like Barcino, however this branch is not one of their best. On a Sunday lunch, many items were unavailable, and the staff were not that aware or informed as well of the availability or the menu items. A lot of the seafood tapas were not available such as the clams or the baby squid. We tried two paellas, their negra and their new chorizo one. Both were okay, although the chorizo had a lack of the toasted rice at the bottom which I really wish was there.
