First time trying this restaurant since we were looking for pho alternatives. We ordered Pho Ga, summer rolls Bahn Mi , cucumber shake and iced milk coffee. Not the usual pho I was used to but it did taste good. I like their Bahn Mi since it was packed and flavorful. Price is higher compared to the famous one here in the metro. Their branch in SM North is not crowded, but service is a bit slow mayne because their server were only 2 at that time.
Nice spacious restaurant. Not crowded. I sampled their open faced beef sandwich which had a generous portion of lettuce - nice. Watermelon salad with vinaigrette dressing. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Staff were quite corteous and helpful. The AC was a bit cold bit still tolerable. I like the way the food was prepared and seasoned. Good value for money.
The food was okay for me. But the Pho Soup was already served warm. And the rice was a bit hard. I only enjoyed their best seller which is the grilled pork belly. Kudos for making it soft and tasty.
We chose to eat Vietnamese because they have plenty of veggies in their menu and soups. We ordered 1 cup of rice to go with banana blossom salad, fresh spring roll, Sriracha shrimps, grilled pork belly, pho ga. The rice was undercooked; the pho ga was bland and did not come with the usual mint, lemon, and spice on the side; and the pork belly was more fat than meat (!). My friend tells me that the original branch in Tagaytay/silang served much better food. Their shakes were good ( we had watermelon and mango), though. For the price point of the entrees averaging P500 each, there are better …
Service was terrible considering that only 3 tables (including ours) were occupied that night. If you will not ask for phoa condiments, they will not give any. Food was bland (we had to ask for pepper and salt) and you can taste that it’s not fresh.
