Favorite place to eat at when I’m craving for some veggies and home style cooking. Especially love their eggplant dish and noodles. This place really knows how to cook their vegetables. Value for money with the quality of food you get. Parking can get challenging during peak hours though.

Aside from their delicious chicken, I really enjoy the soft pork barbeque and the sizzling sisig. But the one food item or beverage that I enjoyed the most was their creamy and refreshing mango shake. For me, that was the best way to cap my our delicious meal.

We ordered 2 Paa Chicken Inasal, Ginataang Monggo, and Mais con Yelo for dessert to share. It’s slightly pricier than Mang Inasal but not as crowded. Their sinamak is also delightful; you should give it a try. The total cost was 520 pesos. It’s super worth it because their food is genuinely delicious—I even had to order extra rice. Haha! I’ll definitely come back again.

This is one of the MATAPOBRE restaurants I've been to. Walked from SM on a rainy night, and chose this place out of the many before it. Also because I know they serve good chicken from my experience with their Toril branch. When my friend and I were seated, no staff ever came to check on us or offer us a menu. I stood up, went to the cashier area and got us a menu. I was already pissed this time since we'd been sitting for 15 minutes. New customers kept coming and were immediately served by the staff. We tried catching the staff's attention to no avail. We stayed for 27 minutes before leaving…
