Food: The food we ordered are remarkable and the best. The sauce/vinaigrette of the Kinuday salad compliments the smoked meat toppings. We also recommend Kansi and Crispy pata with Buro. The buro tastes so good. We really enjoyed the food. Service: The people are very accomodating. Ivan, the one who assist us, takes his time to list down the bestsellers/recommended food. Even if we arrived late (around 8:30 pm and they're closing time is 9 pm), we didn't feel that they're in a rush though they explained to us some of the beverage that we cannot order. The selection of creative food is limited but I guess that's what makes it special. The food was truly delicious and a 100% wow factor in every bite. The satisfaction and comfort you get in eating delicious food made it worth the price.

We ordered pot roast beef which is one of the more expensive items on the menu. My companion was satisfied but it was bland for me, maybe because it's western food. The pavlova dessert was well presented but I thought it's a little bit pricey, I guess we pay more for the art of presentation. When I saw the coffee being served, I thought it was soup because of the type of short but wide brimmed mug they use which makes it hard to lift from the table so you have to be extra careful not to spill it. The Bistro Lokal salad was a good start. The crisp lettuce and watercress made me think of splashing river current with rocks and vegetation on the banks while the strawberries made me smell and imagine a strawberry field on a bright sunny day. However, I don't recommend it for take home because it the leaves limp. I would say that the strawberry mint was the best of my early dinner. It's sweet but it still tastes healthy.
