The atmosphere is dim and sad. Too quiet for a restaurant. Employees were rude and visibly fighting. Not even a smile from the cashier (dec 20,2023 at 3pm). A terrible place to eat. Waiting time took more than 40 mins because they forgot about our order. Other customers after us finished and exited earlier than us. Poorest service quality ever.

In the U.S. this restaurant was recognized as the "gold standard for fried chicken" by Business Insider in 2019, so I was excited they had a franchise in Cebu. But on my first visit about a year ago, I was very disappointed, to say the least. Today I saw a poster outside the window about a new item called "the ultimate bibimbap," so I want to try it. I also saw a lot a people having Korean fried chicken so I wanted to try that too, and they have redeemed themselves from by my previous 2 star review. The cripy seafood mix that i tried it was ok although i thought it was missing two more ps, atmosphere is bit dipressing i geuss part the lighting blamed for it.

Location inside the sm city cebu mall LG floor . Beside JCO donut easy find. I like honey citrus favour for the chicken bonchon. Yummy u must try!!😘👍

All in all experience everything is not standard according to bonchon's international standard. 1million percent needs improvement of all aspect of operations. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service as well. Wake up people there in sm city cebu branch groufloor, August 10 2024 around 5pm.
