This place was only few minutes walk from our resort. We searched it on google maps and we have been there for dinner every night for past three nights. People are very nice and they have a good service. Everything is made there and that’s why you have to wait a bit for food but it’s definitely worth it. Food is sooooo delicious and very reasonable prices. The broth that comes with your food is amazing. We really enjoyed everything and of course the BBQ is WOW. This was probably the best authentic Philippino meal we’ve had in the three weeks we’ve spent travelling here. The food is simple but well done and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. You’ll find lots of locals here too, which is always a good sign and the fair pricing is a bonus. We have eaten much worse things and payed a lot more in other touristic areas and we will definitely come back again in our couple of days here. The unlimited rice with the dishes is great!
If you’re visiting Coron and looking for something to eat, you should visit this place and try their menu. We got the pork bbq with Java rice (fried rice seasoned with turmeric & annatto), chicken inasal with Java rice and sizzling pork chop in gravy with Java rice (also got the beef pares mami - not pictured)! Simple menu but it was all worth it! Not to mention the unlimited delicious Java rice with each plate. I find the pricing budget friendly considering the prices in Coron. Currently in Westown Resort and I saw this affordable, cozy looking restaurant, a walking distance, and have a great review in Google Map. So I tried and ordered pork bbq's, chicken inasal, pork sisig, and beef pares mami. The TASTE of their inasal, bbq, and pork sisig are craaazyy LITTTttt! But the beef pares mami for me is quite alright. It can use some improvement but trust me, their BBQs, inasal, and sisig, you better visit and try it. Also, it won't hurt your wallet too, thats the best part!
After over one month in the Philippines I have to say that it was one of the best dinners we had. Definitely the best philipino kitchen so far. Value for money is great and not as inflated as in the town, would absolutely recommend if you search for a local food experience. Service and cleanies is great and the ambient is like every small local restaurant basic but good. Solid 5/5 for the food.
