16 Mar 2024, around 5:30 pm, 1 pax. Considering that it was payday weekend, I was a bit surprised to be seated immediately (only one other table had customers). I had the 5-kind sashimi platter, shake sashimi, and a couple of Asahi super dry beers. Total amount ran to about 1,300 PHP. The price for a solo dine-in experience, of course, is a bit high, but the great service and relatively silent atmosphere made the price worth it. The service crew was attentive and at one point--when the table beside me got occupied--I was able to leave my things to use the restroom; something that you can't ju…
Delicious Japanese food for affordable prices! Tbh it is not the best japanese restaurant out there but I think their food is really good. Favorites are katsudon and of course, the original and bacon takoyaki (best I tasted in Metro Manila). Service was just alright. It was not that impressive nor disappointing, was just okay. The couch was quite uncomfortable but the service/preparation time was really fast.
I am not sure what the hype is all about but it's pretty average to me. It's expensive yes but in my opinion not worth the price. I ordered the chicken oyako egg dish. It was plated nicely though. It is sweet. I didn't finish the dish too sweet for me. The noodles are so so. It's sweet again. Is japanese cuisine sweet? You can make your own salad at home with japanese sesame dressing...
Taste 🌟🌟🌟 Pretty average. The roll we got was so dry. The okonomiyaki, salad, grilled pork were good. Cleanliness 🌟🌟⭐️ Our table was clean although the table that was unoccupied beside us was left with dirty plates. Temperature 🌟🌟🌟 Warm inside, ventilation of the open kitchen can be improved.
Food was OK but service was super bad. Given the open kitchen concept we saw that our sukiyaki was cooked after all the food was served in our table. We assumed they forgot since there was a 15mnt gap per for service. Mind you we were the only customer eating there on a Saturday night. - no aircon - multiple items unavailable from the menu (they have 20pages worth of menu???) - uncoordinated staff - manager kept hiding at the back
