The food is good. Lots of choices in the menu. We liked garlic butter chicken and the seafood sashimi salad. Chawan mushi is also good.
Good food! The menu is extensive—lots of dishes to choose from. We appreciated the mini sizes of the meals, perfect for when you want to try a variety of dishes and don’t want to break the bank. I got the yuzu salt chicken ramen and although it wasn’t the most visually pleasing, it was still delicious. The serving size was large; I’d say it’s good for 2-3 people. I enjoyed the Osaka maki as well but the soy sauce was a bit too salty. The restaurant is bright and spacious but I suggest they play zen music as the occasional loud music tend to ruin the atmosphere.
Menu has a lot of ramen choices, but taste is just okay. If you feel like eating ramen but not very particular when it comes to taste, botejyu will do.
I've seen a lot of reviews for this restaurant and they are correct in saying that some food items were a bit overpriced given their taste as well as their portion size. Starting off with the only item that piqued my interest, the gyoza was surprisingly presented in long strips which at the very least was a unique way of showcasing the dish. Their ramen was on the regular side, nothing too fancy but otherwise okay. Their fried rice was a bit too small with just a handful of bacon pieces. Kudos to the staff for keeping the place clean and tidy as well as being attentive to the customers. O…
We have once again fallen victim to SM BF's limited dining options. This Botejyu is a ramen house, so they serve a wide variety of ramen flavors, with some options for appetizers and side dishes. Be warned that some of your go-to dishes might not be available here (i.e. takoyaki). We tried the ramen on our first try. It was good but nothing to rave about. At its price point, I would rather go for other ramen places. The first experience was disappointing, but since my brother had a good experience at another branch (full restaurant), we decided to give it another try. On the second try, we…
