This restaurant is now located at the ground floor main building. In between Mcdonalds and Marugame Udon. As per its name, the menu is more of ramen. It has a few of meat and tempura menu as well. Place : Clean and well lit. Service : very satisfactory customer service. Friendly staff. Food : good thing they have chicken & pork food items although smaller portion as compared to the bigger Botejyu restaurant. The portion is more appropriate for us. We ordered chiclen teriyaki, grilled char siu, tempura, salad and luxurious ramen.
Tempura Rice Bowl - although the shrimp tempura was cooked fresh and hot, the only comment we have is the side salad. Since it is included in the same bowl, the salad dressing (which is sesame) is already mixed underneath the rice. So you’ll taste both the tempura sauce and the salad dressing. Premium Yakisoba - not premium at all. You won’t recognize which is the beef and pork in it, it seems it is more pork than the beef. Squid cannot be seen easily. Veggy mixed, hmmm, what they included are some slices of cabbage, not other veggies like capsicum or bell pepper, carrots and the like which …
Loved this Botejyu ramen house! If you've been following my reviews, you'll know I love Botejyu. I might be more biased since I love ramen. I had ramen #3 or the butter corn miso. Rich creamy and very flavourful broth. I would love more serving of the broth. Chashu lack a little flavour though but overall complements the ramen. Al dente noodles. Tempura is a must try! Same taste and cooked to perfection as with the other branches. Bacon rice for my partner also tasted great. Will come back again soon!
Japanese restaurant in the mall. The tables and chairs were ok and the ceiling AC units blow down on certain tables - so bring a hoodie to stay warm. As for the food, it was excellent and served well. The portions are big so bring your appetite!! (See pictures). Recommend eating here.
Botejyu offers a delightful menu of Japanese cuisine, with dishes that are flavorful and well-prepared. The okonomiyaki and takoyaki are particularly tasty and worth trying. However, the long waiting hours for food can be frustrating, especially during peak times. If you have the patience, the food is enjoyable, but be prepared for a potentially lengthy wait. Overall, it's a decent spot with delicious dishes, but the service speed needs improvement.
