It was our first time here and just saw the restaurant by chance. We ordered some takoyaki, california rolls, a salad, sashimi and green tea. Their takoyaki is the best! Well cookwd and flavorful. There's octopus in there unlike other restaurants or cheap stands out there. They have some unique spices on the table so you can enhance the flavor some more. The California rolls were noticeably bigger as well. The service was fast and our overall experience here was enjoyable.

Today was wet and cold, perfect weather for Ramen! And so we headed to one of our go to Ramen place… BOTEJYU We were seated instantly by the courteous staff and handed the menu. We chose the cushioned bench against the ornate wall. House water was served soon after our order was taken, warm as requested. The tempura had crispy breading, the shrimp was a little bit on the bland side (per my preference). "BOTEJYU was established in 1946 in the gourmet city of Tamade, Osaka by Eikichi Nishino. Our restaurant name, BOTEJYU, was coined from the rhythmic cooking sound of okonomiyaki. The first part of the name, "BOTE" comes from the flipping sound of the okonomiyaki and the second part of the name, "JYU", represents the sizzling sound as it cooks on the teppan grill."

i was on my normal… i don’t care what i’m wearing to protect myself and my mom from the not so nice people of manila. anyways… and as expected. discriminated by the staff i think of this resto. no fancy clothes, branded etc and wearing basic makes them think.. i can’t afford their food which is really pricy for a small bowl of ramen, with some pork slices that tasted odd like old meat. the noodles were like packaged type. broth is ok nothing special. miso paste is yum 😀😀 funny, the order taker needs training, it was me and my mom. she served only one 🙄🙄 and she was like, oh you ordered two? …
