Out of the three we ordered, the buns were definitely the best. The crackers were delicious too! There’s more seating available upstairs, but there’s no fan, so bring your own Jisulife fan. Overall, not a bad spot if you’re looking for Chinese food on a budget.

We tried soy chicken rice, shrimp balls, siomai, and hainanese beef noodles. Everything was great, except for the beef. That needs maybe an additional 2 hours to soften 😄 (1 more hour if pressure cooker haha). Definitely going back for the siomai! 👌

Thanks to its flavorful, warm food and al fresco setting, Bunbun is a refreshing take on Vietnamese dining in Boracay. They’re right beside Hennan Crystal Sands Resort. Everything is closely similar to Yes Pho in Baguio. If they could make the food prices a bit lower, it would be excellent. By the way, one of the staff shared that their opening hour shifted to noon due to public demand and retain one shift per day. The outdated 11 am opening hour (as stated in Google Maps as of this writing) is for the former city curfew ordinance, driven by the pandemic.

We ordered Sesame chicken soup and xiao long bao and got rather disappointed. The xiao long bao ripped open right after my partner lifted it up using chopsticks… the taste is not that great considering weve tried alot of xiao long baos not only here in the Ph. Sesame soup was nothing special.. the server didnt even served us water when food was served. Given its pricelist, I say the establishment is overhyped and the reviews were a bit exaggerated.
