All in all it's a 5 star, but I think there's a room for improvement with regards to the food. There are already varieties of food but I think there needs to be more. The ginataang kuhol has a bitter aftertaste (for me) but the flavor of the gata is excellent! The Kare Kare, wow, it's very good! I'm always picky when it comes to Kare-Kare 'cos some restos doesn't have that 'wow' taste, but in Cabalen it's a 👍🏼! And as always, crispy kang kong and its white sauce is still, of course, the #1!

The food here are nice my family loves to eat in different branches of cabalen and this branch are really nice too! love the dishes as well : )

The food quality is more than acceptable and the price is pretty reasonable. It has less choices compared to the other Cabalen I have been to but I prefer to go here because it doesn’t get as crowded like the other Cabalen located in bigger malls. The only problem I encounter is the parking. It is very difficult to drive into the parking area. I would advise the customers to park somewhere near. They could even park at SM Cubao and walk to the restaurant using the connecting bridge to Ali Mall.

We arrived at 7pm and only one decent dish was left, which was lechon ulo. The other two dishes were just vegetables. There was no ice cream, only their spaghetti pasta. Honestly, the 25-peso pasta you can buy from a karinderya is tastier than Cabalen's, even though their dishes look unappetizing. In the end, we just ate two balut each HAHAHAHAHAHA. For a whopping 550 pesos lol. The crew wasn't helpful either. My mother, who is a SENIOR, had to ask for a toothpick to pick at their bony dish. They didn't even respond, just ignored her. We were there lunch time..and found out even street foods like fishball, squidball, balut and chicharon are being served..and the meat of their famous karekare is not that tender...Grabe na kayo Cabalen! I wouldn't be surprised if one day you'll be closed!✌️
