Meeting friends after 50 years. What a delight to enjoy our short reunion over snacks and food.
Despite being next in line, Bryan, the server shown in the attached photo, opted to attend to a guest who had cut in line ahead of me. This lack of attention to proper order was disheartening. I was also disappointed by the manner in which the menu was presented to our table—he casually just tossed it. How rude can that get? The food was okay but it took almost an hour to serve. The bottomline? Good food, tasteless service.
I’ve had better Filipino food elsewhere. Was disappointed by the food quality. I believe they used to be better. The krispy pata was small, calamares were overcooked. Fried kangkong was my favorite.
I used to love this place when I lived in Cebu. I always went every time I was visiting the Philippines. The fresh lumpia was as good as I remembered, Pinckney and chicken were okay. The halo halo was good though. The mini halo halo is big enough after a big meal.
I had high expectations on this cafe since there are a lot of branches in Cebu. However, when we tried their Lumpiang Sariwa and Fried Chicken, both bland and pricey. Their Lechon Kawali was okay though. Servers were quite attentive and the ambiance was good also.
