Always our go to coffee place after dinner, but this time we decided to grab dinner here. The food has big portions and tastes good. The ambiance was amazing, we get a live pianist from time to time while eating dinner. And to end it all, their famous cheesecake is something we will never miss out.
The food were amazing. I love the unlimited buffet. Not sure if they increased their price now but definitely it is worthy. If you plan to stay for a night here, they have breakfast already included. Make sure to be there before 10AM so you can still avail. Cafe is beside their pool which is a bit small. And the CR is outside the cafe and you still have to say to the crew you go to the CR. Busy kitchen for the cafe is legit.
I've heard so much about Cafe Marco's buffet offering that it has built up so much hype and standard in my foodie head. After so many years, I had an excuse to try it. Lets talk about the space and service. Cafe Marco and Marco Polo Plaza has been in the Cebu dining game for years hence the reputation it has built for itself. With that said, you can clearly see and feel the dated look and feel of the space which none of the newer properties have. You can feel the multitude of memories that were made here and this years of "experience" in the hospitality industry shows through the service of …
One of the best breakfast buffet in Cebu. Good food. Tasty and Quality. Reasonable price. I was just a bit dismayed because my daughter was charged eventhough my Hotel booking includes a child. I payed and booked 2 rooms and for 2 adults and 1 child for every room. for my families Hotel stay. But still I was told that only the room stay was free for the kids and dont include the breakfast. Not in the mode to contest.
Food was generally good, but there were very few choices/cuisines/drinks compared to other known buffets in the city - for me Cafe Bai still sits on top, followed by Feria - and this goes below Vikings (sorry). The dining area was small and dimly lit. Also, the drinks were not part of the buffet - you'd need to pay separately for them, or you can settle with their juices, which were served in very small glasses. Experience was quite underwhelming since I had high expectations since this is Marco Polo.
