Exploring their menu, I discovered that their matcha is truly worth a try – rich, velvety, and with a delightful balance of coffee that makes it stand out. I love the ambiance of the cafe very chill and relaxing. The prices are worth it. I love their carbonara as well the best.
Cafe Sola: A Hidden Gem in Ma-a, Davao City Cafe Sola has become my daily go-to spot in Ma-a, Davao City, and for good reason. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warm smiles and genuine hospitality of the staff, who are always kind, welcoming, and attentive. Contrary to some previous reviews, the team here consistently goes above and beyond to make every visit feel special. The coffee? Exceptional. As someone from Australia, I know good coffee when I taste it, and the brews here remind me of the rich, smooth flavors I enjoyed back home. Their iced coffee is particularly refr…
Ambiance is perfect for a weekend spent alone or with friends. I love to sit here with a book, sip on something refreshing, and snack while I’m at it. Whether for calm space alone or to catch up with friends over brunch, I love the natural light and the design of the place. My only problem is that I can’t decide whether I want a dirty chai, dirty matcha, or a spritz! But I’ve stayed long enough to have ordered all of the above multiple times. So, I suggest to anyone who enjoys being in a spacious well lit calm environment to get some you-time here. 🤍
I have been meaning to visit this cafe for months already and finally did one hungry mid-afternoon. Glad it was my ONE and ONLY meal that day. The non-greasy grilled cheese (my new fave) was divine. A small glass of what seemed like tomato basil dip (really made dunking a lot of sense)….Courteous staff… Quick service….Presentable plates…. Crunch Salad and Espresso Tonic too surely captivated me in planning already for a second visit….
Nice place, nice food but sadly very poor service. 😢 30 minutes after ordering the food (my wife finished hers already) we asked for my order just to find out they did not prepare it yet … In general they seem not to be well trained at service. My coffee took also ages to bring. Only few guests here at the moment. Update: Response to the owners message: As we came this morning the other guests already ordered their food. Only two of us to be served. My wife‘s food arrived after around 20 minutes. Mine maybe after 40 minutes and only after I asked the service lady as I realized that other gue…
