A simple, no-frills place to get some local comfort food. We found the pork spare ribs to be tasty and very tender, plus the serving was much more generous than expected. Their french onion soup is a bit of a disappointment though as it seems the broth is flavored with onion powder and a lot of pepper instead of the caramelized onions that the recipe traditionally calls for. It's not bad but manage your expectations. Despite this we did enjoy our meal and left happy and quite full. We look forward to trying the rest of their varied menu.
Above average bgc style pricing for mediocre at best pasta. Ordered pesto and the chicken was solid stone overcooked in half sized portion. For the price per below average portion I was billed, I'd at least expect proper cooking let alone gourmet level. Service speed and attentiveness was at least acceptable and dark mocha was at industry level. And finally, the manger conducted a negative all staff feedback group session in front of me, the customer. Pinatay yung music as in. Porket ba Isa lang ako sa resto? 😂 I was paying for the relaxed ambience and music not for the areas for impro…
FOR THE LOVE OF THAT’S GOOD AND HOLY, DO NOT order the Tonkotsu Ramen!!!! Parang carbonara yung lasa, it was soooo weird and I’m not even exaggerating. My boyfriend ordered the tomahawk steak and apparently it’s porkchop pala. He asked for it to be medium rare thinking na it was steak and one of the staff said “luh walang ganon”. Might as well keep your comments to yourself. If you’re gonna eat here might as well stick with Filipino food, it might be better than what we ordered. Pero if you ask me, I wouldn’t recommend eating here AT ALL.
We ate here and ordered bulalo and something else. After 30-40 minutes, the waiter approached our table and said "Ay, wala daw po yung order niyo." So it took them 30ish minutes to realize they're out of ALL the stuff we ordered. We wasted time and waited for nothing, but looking at their food reviews, I think we dodged a bullet there. 😅
Had dinner here last night with my husband. The only other customers were a family of 7. All pork dishes were unavailable, only one meal was available for their all day breakfast, their pizzas weren’t also available. At that point we only had a couple of items to choose from. We got Bulalo and Sausage for sharing. Despite having few customers, it took 40 minutes for our order to arrive. Bulalo was bland so we asked for patis but noooo they didn’t have any patis as well and even served us toyo instead. Toyo? In Bulalo? Next, the sausage, for a P600+ food, it was just okay. Basically 2 sausages…
