Their caldereta was reminiscent of my mom’s recipe…bursting with layers of flavors from the Spanish chorizo, green olives, spices, perfectly cooked. You can tell from the consistency of the sauce that it was slowly-cooked as the natural oil was on top.

Okay first - the food. I cannot say if this is truly authentic but the flavors are really new to the Filipino tounge. But nonetheless the food we ordered are all so good. I haven't eaten in a lot of Spanish places but this is definitely recommended. The food is on the pricey side though so if you are on a tight budget this may be something to consider for. Okay next - the service! The staff were really friendly and attentive. And lastly - the place is just beautiful. The ambiance is nice and chill. Yup, it's very Instagramable.

Been wanting to try this restaurant for years already. Dined here around 1PM on a Sunday and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Service wasn’t bad. We were seated at the 2nd floor but server was attentive the whole time. Food took a bit long but we expected it since paellas usually take long. What we ordered: 1. Sangria - good! It's hard to find authentic and good food made with love these days but Calderon definitely mastered it. I've passed Calderon many times since I was a kid yet never stepped inside until today. They serve traditional Spanish cuisine similar to Alba, but I was blown away by the quality of their service and their food. We ordered 4 dishes and all of them were spot on. I made our reservation via Viber and they were so accommodating, even replying to me past their store hours and allowing us to pre-order. I'd definitely be back for more, especially the croquetas!
