Second time to eat here. Always so filling. Good portions for the price. Fave here are the Golden Empire Special Soup, Salted egg shrimp, salted egg squid, beef hofan. Reco to finish off with mango sago for dessert! Super refreshing after a hefty serving of Chinese food.

Found this food gem along Banawe the other day. This place is big and you won't miss it for sure from the outside. We dined at the second floor and ordered our favorites salt and pepper spareribs, sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, birthday noodles, Taiwan pechay and others. The waiting time for our food to arrive was short and eating time was even shorter. I loved every bit of our order somehow it reminded me of our Binondo food trips. We get to try this resto last night (11/19) it was around 9pm they were about to close but people were still inside. We know its late staff already tired, but thtas not ab excused for them to keep on ignoring us for several times, even their guard went in just to tell the waiter, that weve been trying to get there attention for awhile now. I recently dined at Golden Empire Chinese Cuisine for a late lunch/early dinner. We enjoyed Peking duck, stuffed veggies, and salted fish rice. The food and house tea were delicious, especially considering the price. Generous serving portions and clean plates covered in cling wrap added to the experience. As someone particular about hygiene, I was impressed. The service was accommodating, allowing me to wrap leftovers for takeout myself. Due to Chinese New Year, parking was a bit of a challenge, but I would still return for another visit.

2nd visit: Far better than the first, everything improved from the staff, to the servers, to facilities and service. Couldn't ask for more. The food was tasty and delicious. Very flavorful. What bothers me about this restaurant is the crew or staff. Hats off to the person serving our table, but the rest seemed to glare at customers a lot. We have money to pay, and we don't look like criminals at all. Stop staring at your customers! It's uncomfortable and rude.
