Kampong Soya Chicken meal - tender breast chicken meat topped with specia sauce. Served on top of a yang chow rice. Crispy Roasted Pork meal - pork belly roasted to perfection with cracklings. These two meals is a must!
Ordered the Crispy Roast Pork Rice. Food— 5/5 Really crispy. Not too fatty. Service— Good. Self-service since we're in the Food Hall Ambiance— Good, not too crowded. I put 4stars because i originally want to order the Roasted Duck but quite pricey at 688, and not in the options for Rice Meals. Hope you consider having it.
Wanted to try something different and it was okay. I wouldn't really recommend trying this. The charsiu crispy noodles was affordable though at 188 pesos. The crispy noodles are good and what you would expect. But the charsiu pork was slightly cold, a bit tough, and a bit too sweet for me. The crispy noodle sauce at the bottom wasn't good either and I would prefer it not having the sauce. The roast pork is okay, most of the skin was very crispy and good. But the meat was not that tender as well and was missing flavor.
The Yang Chow fried rice was disappointing—tasteless and lacking in flavor, with poor quality overall. The crispy roast pork was acceptable, though the meat tasted like it had been cooked and left out for a while. However, the roast duck was quite good.
Dont order the Beef Hor Fun, the serving size is side dish level and its priced @ 300... they serve mine overcooked as well... there were more beansprouts than noodles 1/10
