Visited ChowKing tonight for dinner. I enjoy eating here & I think the prices are reasonable. I noticed sometimes the tables are slow to be cleaned, but other than that it’s good.

Staffs are approachable. Queue does build up very quickly during peak hours. During the time we went here (noon), it took us about about half an hour before we received our take-out orders. Will I go back here? Maybe. Will I order a take-out? I will not.

Mid-range prices for their fast-food meal. I came in after lunch a little past 1pm. Since there wasn't a crowd like the older days, mine was ok to be claimed up front within 10 minutes. I ordered their Sweet n Sour meal, one that served boneless chicken. Serving seemed small like it is a snack, similar to other competitors on the mid-range prices and small servings. If you like it small or are in a hurry, it's good to come here with the less crowd. If you sit near the water at the center table, that area has the Aircon and it can be cold, wear a jacket. The only thing I enjoy eating here is their halo halo! Some may call me “shallow” for choosing Chow King halo halo among others but leave me be! I have have been enjoying this for years already though it is quite a disappointment to learn that they only serve up to medium size only…make LARGE size for or even a LARGEST!!! This is on e of the best arsenal we need especially if we are experiencing oppressive heat! And Chow King Robinsons Place…it doesn’t take 20 minutes to prepare halo halo! Puh-leez!! Keeping me waiting that long almost made me go stark, raving mad!

Wait time was terrible, all the other tables after us had already gotten their orders and we were still waiting for us to get called. Had to follow up twice and after following up, they told us we had to wait for a few more minutes. Really disappointing.
