When we arrived in Binondo, most of the restaurants we had in mind were packed. While exploring the area, we stumbled upon the flagship store of Eng Bee Tin and discovered they had a restaurant on the second floor. Since it wasn’t crowded, we decided to give it a shot. To our surprise, everything we ordered was not only delicious but also inviting. Their Beef Hofan is an absolute must-try!
A big flagship store with lots of Chinese goodies. A had a great time exploring the store that time. I bought mooncakes, hopia, and machang at that time. They are soooo good.
If you’re looking for different kinds of hopia, tikoy and pasalubong. This is the perfect place to splurge! Love their moon cake and custard hopia huhu will surely visit again!
Whether you're a passionate foodie or an adventurous traveler, the legendary Eng Bee Tin and The Great Buddha Cafe are a must to drop by. Imagine stepping into a one-stop-shop building...a sure paradise for all lovers of traditional Chinese cuisine.
The service is quite slow, even when there's a long line almost reaching the entrance. With its popularity, the place is super crowded. Among all Chinatowns I've ever been to, this one might be the dirtiest, in my opinion. However, this shop is surprisingly able to keep the place neat and clean. There's a desperate variety of desserts, drinks, and frozen products selling at affordable prices. I'd love to buy some, but the line was too freaking long.
