I loved the passion fruit tart and the dayap tart and the pecan tart and the chocolate cake and the breadsticks and everything! Real chocolates, real cream and real butter, indeed! The taste will prove its claim.

Great patisserie at par with some of the best in the metro. Their chef studied in France and US and you can really taste the commitment to quality in their desserts. Its indulgent without being too sweet. I had to look for a cake to serve to discerning Parisian guests and Im really glad I found Cinq in Manila.
The "boutique" can be cramped and interiors aren't particularly inviting, but what matters most are their pastries, which are honest-to-goodness some of the best in the city. Rather than relying on novelty or banking on following trends (e.g., no, you won't find any matcha or red velvet treats here), they focus on making excellent desserts with good quality ingredients. Their creations are well-thought of; flavors and textures are balanced; and in all my visits, the pastries always taste 'fresh' despite being stored frozen.
