I spent my last night in the Philippines in this hostel and what can I say... the owners are so warm. We sat together on the beautiful roof terrace in the evening. They gave me tips how to get to the metro the fastest way to get to Intramuros. The owner has a great taste in music, which she played when we spent the evening together. :) The beds are comfortable, the shower is clean, the location is perfect. You can quickly get to the shopping center, the laundry and the metro station. Thank you, you sweetened my last day in the Philippines.

Extremely friendly staff with good prices. Roof terrace is quite nice to relax and mingle. Dorms are simple with a/c. Lockers available for smaller baggage. Proximity to the airport is a plus although it is not walkable. Local mall and restaurants nearby. Good place for a one night layover or longer if you want to explore Manila with a bit more of a local feel.

Lack of signage may fool you , check photos for details. Location on the gmaps is accurate. I had a good experience with a checkin, toilet shared with shower was clean. At the time of staying owner advised there is no hot water but don’t sweat, water is not cold , it is actually nicely refreshing. Slightly squeaky bed could use some maintenance but mattress was comfortable and would feel 195 (6’4) tall person no problem. Jacky and Jay has been great host and very informative about Manila. The hostel is located very central in safe calm neighborhood. The hostel is very clean and probably only hostel without cockroaches. Don't miss the roof teras bar/common area.
