Great timing. We did dine here around 5-6PM so there is still no customers yet. Maybe also because it was the day after typhoon Kristine. Craving for some bulalo, we found this place and it was glorious. Good bulalo and tawilis. We also got pork sisig which is not that good. Very good service though. Attentive and kind staff. Great!

My boyfriend recommended this place for the view and the affordable prices. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the food. I ordered the sizzling liempo, expecting something fried, but it was grilled instead, and the gravy was far too salty. I also tried the buttered shrimp and sweet and sour fish, but neither lived up to the price – the flavors were underwhelming. The only highlight of our visit was the service. The waiters were attentive and quick, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it's a nice spot for the view and service, but the food didn’t meet my expectations.

We ordered a set meal consisting of bulalo, pinakbet, pork sisig, fried tawilis, dessert, and iced tea. I love their bulalo, others were just ok. The service was a tad slow but we can excuse that for the great view of the place.

IT’S WAS OKAY. GOOD VIEW BUT FOOD WAS NOTHING SPECIAL. MAY HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE SOMEPLACE ELSE. The Cliffside View Resto is one of the many eateries alongside the main highway in Tagaytay. Like most, they offer a scenic view of the Taal Lake and Volcano from its multiple view points. There are plenty of tables that accommodate big groups while also having individual kubos for more intimate and local dining experience. We ordered one of their set meals that was for 6-8 persons. How this place has so many reviews and 4.9 stars is baffling to me. I was so excited to eat here thanks to the reviews but it was a disaster! There’s so many stray cats that they just let walk all over the dining tables. The bathrooms are disgusting, and I tried to wash my hands but the faucets had no running water. When I asked the staff about washing my hands, they directed me to a bucket of stand-still water that I could use… absolutely unsanitary and disgusting.
