Irresistibly delicious! Shredded cochinillo and mixed greens wrapped in rice paper then fried, served with nampla sauce - Cochi Summer Rolls! Cochi BGC
Serving sizes were too small for the price. Food was okay. Cochinillo by itself was very bland but the sauces particularly kamias marmalade were really good. We liked the croquetas but it was only 3 pieces. For the atmosphere, the place was clean and can really set the mood. There is live music and the singer was really good BUT THE MUSIC WAS TOO LOUD FOR AN ENCLOSED SMALL SPACE. We asked if they can lower the music since we cannot hear ourselves anymore but nothing changed. At one point I felt like I was in a bar. The singer was really good and can also play the guitar really well, but we c…
I recently had lunch at Mr. Wong in Eastwood, previously known as Cochi Eastwood (as indicated on the credit card slip). I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful and juicy roast chicken, cooked and prepared close to perfection. The pork and mushroom siomai were also a hit—delicious and well-made. However, the kutsay dumplings and braised tofu with spinach didn’t have the flavors I was looking for, and I found the Yang Chow Rice too oily. These dishes didn’t quite meet my expectations. Despite this, the service was decent and pleasant, enhancing the overall dining experience. Perhaps they…
Ordered 3 dishes total 6k. Beef karekare was delicious and flavorful. However, Cochinillo disappointed, 1/4 size, 4k, not crispy, lacking spices, resembling to a regular lechon. Despite request reheating for crisper skin, staff explained it couldn't be achieved. Leftovers were taken home. Chorizo paella rice was very oily, suggesting a healthier preparation with olive oil and spices. Ensaymada was served warm and heated. Overall, food quality fell below expectations, particularly with Cochinillo and Chorizo paella needing improvement. On a positive note, Attentive staff, good customer serv…
We had our Valentines dinner last Feb 14. Ambiance was ok. Loved the Sangria! Staff were friendly at first but customer service sucks. Waited for our order for more than an hour. No empathy at all. Angus beef Caldereta was more of Calderetang Carrots and Potato. Appetizer (Gambas) was never served. Followed it up but still not served. Waited for another 15 minutes to update the bill which included the Gambas that was never served. What an awful experience. ☹️
We waited 1 and a half hour just for the food to be served
