As a tourist, the food is amazing. Not sure the locals might rate it. But the roasted pork and fried intestines were delicious, lots of flavour, well marinated. Some dishes were a tad too salty for me. I was brought to the restaurant when I asked a colleague for some lechon. I also had a cucumber and kiwi drink- very refreshing with oily food. Highly recommended
Amazing food, kare-kare, pinakbet, laing, torteng talong with Red horse. Had a great time with my partner, walking distance to our loved hotel Manila prince hotel. An unforgettable experience. highly recommended 👌🏾❤️
Grumpy staff that ignore you trying to get their attention. They pretend they didn't see you wave when you start to exaggerate. While we ordered the server had to verify if a dish was in stock, it wasn't, showing a lack of preparation. 5 minutes after ordering another dish was out of stock. The kani salad was served in a misleadingly small bowl as show in the pic, so it's questionable if that's worth the Php 255 for this dish. And all of this "included a complete lack of smile". Will I come back? No, why would I??
The Adobe rice did not have the adobo taste and the rice was oily and wet…The salt and pepper pork was oily and burnt and the pinakbet was overcooked oily and bland!…The worst restaurant i have ever experienced…Never again!!!
This is for Tempura which is housed in the same space. Had lunch here while queuing for under wash at a nearby Shell. Ordered gyudon and miso soup, expecting that it will be prepared quickly. However, very slow. I finished the soup. There is still no gyudon despite several follow-ups and the place is not fully-packed. For its price, a small serving of gyudon. Japanese restaurants in little Tokyo/Makati Square are even more worthwhile. Then beef hardness. Should have eaten at KFC instead. For the duration of the serving, I kept getting stuck in the underwash.
