I ate their specialty salad and lumping ubod, while my husband had lenggua. We never leave this place without a box of chicken pie. Also a place we keep going back to. Just failed to take photos.
The food was good. They have so many good things in the menu. The lengua estofada was soft and tender, the truffle mushroom pasta was not lacking in flavor, and the soy chicken is a nice new menu item. My only gripe might be that the serving sizes could be just a little bit more generous. The hearty chowder seemed lacking, filling less than half of its bowl. Service could also be improved. Wait staff seemed pre occupied with watching the front, and we've had to try to get their attention for some minutes to place our order.
Lengua estofado was good, meat was so soft it melts in the mouth, vegetables were crunchy and fresh. Lacks the oompf factor though, I think the taste is just senior friendly iykwim. Soy chicken was delicious. Might be better off for the younger crowds as its flavorful. Sweet and with a hint of sour from the atsara. Rice was not dry to the mouth. On a side note, this particular branch was hot, and was poorly ventilated. The door by the outskirts of the mall was left open and also the door inside the mall. Still a good place to eat though. They have a lot of good options especially their pas…
Loved this place, However recently, The service hasn't been great. I was served halo halo with what couldve been water. Then, I was served a completely different meal than that of what I ordered. The food is nice, But if I'm paying 500 pesos for one plate of beef and mushrooms and get a completely different dish, I don't see why I should continue to eat here. The atmosphere was not good either - I was always being bothered by the flies, Not to mention the sticky tables. We also had to stand for nearly 5 minutes for a waiter to clean the table, We had elderly relatives with us pa naman. The in…
It was my mom’s 71st birthday and we decided to celebrate our lunch in contis southmall. From the start the ambiance of the resto was not welcoming. We raised our hands for 10 minutes and asked some staff to take our orders and no one gave a damn. The mango salad that claims to have chicken only has 2 pieces that are one inch small. They used iceberg lettuce instead of romaine lettuce and it is not worth the price you are paying for. All the staff don’t give a damn about you, parang inis sila na nagtatanong ka. We asked how the pwd and senior discount was calculated to the server named Joy an…
