It is worth entering just for its air conditioning, which you will instantly appreciate. Of course, their shop assistants will offer you the most hostile of the anti-smiles you will find in Coron, and a greeting in the form of a grunt. You forget all this as soon as they uncover the fountain of chocolate crinkles and you can't stop sniffing and buying them in droves. They have cupcakes and other cakes. But they will probably disintegrate in the heat as soon as you walk through the door.

Even with higher prices and nastier shop assistants than in other places in Coron Town, they have a tray with crinkles on the counter for 20 pesos each. We ordered two the first morning, and by the last day we had already eaten 18. I wish I had brought more crinkles for the flight. If you travel to Corón, bring me a few.
