It’s a vibrant restaurant of Portuguese and Filipino blend. The service is excellent with attentive staff to assist your needs. The combo meals were really good, as I had the chance to taste both the Ribs and Lechon. Though, I wouldn’t recommend their Baked Creamy Piri Piri Chicken pasta due to it’s greasy taste. Overall, I recommend Cozinha de Burgo.
Love the cozy vibe. Dined here on a weekend. There were families all around but the place still retained a relaxing vibe. Staff was friendly. Most importantly, food was good. I had the pork barbecue sandwich and cream pasta. Loved both. Portions were large enough, even the snacks felt like main meals.
COZINHA DE BURGO. Ola! Flavors of Portugal as a Filipino Feast. Cozinha de Burgo literally, “Borough’s Kitchen” is the very first authentic Portuguese cuisine in the Philippines. Birthday celebration of my brother. Our first time here, and I must say that we really enjoyed the night. Food are delicious and mouthwatering. You can also jamming with the live acoustic. Celebrate love and life as you dine. Indeed, a festival of flavors. Obrigado! 😋🎉🎂🎈🎁
I'm leaving a review because I'd like to give this restaurant a chance to hopefully improve. My husband and I went there tonight for the first time. We ordered the poutine and the dish with the large chunks of beef on skewers. First, the poutine. We used to live just several hours away from the birthplace of poutine and that is Quebec province in Canada, so we know what poutine looks like and how it's supposed to taste. Of course, we didn't expect Burgo's poutine to be authentic but, I'm sorry, please don't call it poutine when all it is is gravy soup with sliced potatoes. Second, our main di…
Piri-piri chicken wasn’t appetizing at all. The taste is nothing close to a piri-piri chicken, it was bland and the meat is really mushy…It seemed that the chicken meat was not grilled. The texture is like an over boiled meat and with a slightest touch you will be able to mash it….And true enough, the service crew confirmed the meat is indeed boiled…kinda weird for a piri-piri…Sorry Cozinha de Burgo, but your piri-piri chicken really sucked…
