This Filipino spot is my absolute fave! I can't get enough of their sinuglaw—tuna and grilled pork in vinegar—it's a flavor explosion. And their portions are perfect for sharing with a buddy. Oh, and you can't go wrong with a classic Gulaman drink. The service here is always on point, just like at their other branches.
The restaurant is spacious and there were few available seatings inside, good thing that there was an available table inside when we went there. Place was so nice and had an elegant and very homey vibe. Staff were very friendly and attentive even though they have many diners. The food there is to die for, all of them are very delicious. We ordered: Adobo Rice - I did not actually eat this however my companions are saying that it's delicious. Binagoongan Rice - all I can say with this is: kanin palang, ulam na. It has a generous amount of toppings (tomato, onion, cucumber, salted egg, green ma…

Typical Filipino cuisine with just a twist using unique names for food. The service was kind of not good because not all of the servers were attentive. We were standing outside the restaurant looking for the attendant who would assist with the sitting, but it was the chef who saw and alerted the others. The place's atmosphere was good and clean, and they provided alcohol for use per table.
Food is ok, you might want to give them a try if you're sick of manam, who gets all the love these days. I wanted karekare that had oxtail and since manam kare kare is beef chunks and tripe, I decided to give crisostoma a go. While it had oxtail the kare kare sauce was meh, it was bland and equal parts watery and chunky, not the smooth creamy texture you get from good kare kare. Munggo was decent, not great, but decent, at best just so slightly above average. Rice wasn't fluffy, more buhaghag. I don't know what tapioca costs these days but when I asked for extra sago for my gulaman drink …
