Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Cuesina Garden Bistro, located in Shangri-La Plaza. The charm of this restaurant lies in the kindness and attentiveness of its staff, as well as the high quality of its dishes. I ordered Adobo, Sisig, Pinakbet, Tocino, and Garlic Rice. Each dish was meticulously prepared, bringing out the authentic flavors of Filipino cuisine. The smoky aroma of the Sisig and the gentle flavors of the Pinakbet left a lasting impression. The Tocino had a perfectly balanced sweetness that paired wonderfully with the Garlic Rice. The only challenge was the generous por…

We saw the negative reviews but were too hungry to transfer restaurants. So we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Service in the beginning was good. We ordered the Bulalo and Marinated Grilled Bangus. The food arrived within the usual 15mins. But the bulalo wasn't any good, extremely bland. And the bangus was overcooked and and too dry. We asked for patis and the waitress returned to us saying they didn't have any, which got us thinking maybe that's why their bulalo was so bland. She then left to inform her co-waiters and we overheard them saying to get fish sauce from the resto …

One cannot help but notice this brightly lit restaurant. We ordered chicharon bulaklak as appetizer, and the kagubatan pinoy salo fiesta. The chicharon serving was very few, probably 3 small bulaklak cut up to look many. The bulalo was quite heavy on the beef cube flavoring, resulting in a salty broth. Their version of adobo manok is one cooked in vinegar and turmeric. Inihaw na liempo is tough, though still edible. Isaw tastes good, similar to what you can buy from street vendors.

It's a big NO for me. Horrible serving portion and taste. I regret having eaten here. Also, if you are using a government-mandated discount such as senior citizen / PWD / athlete discount, assert your rights. The cashier there tried to argue that the combo meal was already discounted. When I asked for the DTI permit, they couldn't produce any of that sort. They accept credit cards as a mode of payment.

Never go to this overpriced and horrible restaurant. Both food and service were horrible. I asked what's their best seller, and the waitress recommended their fried chicken basket. The chicken was served extremely RAW, to the point that blood was dripping as soon as I cut the chicken. The meat definitely was not cooked. Waitress offered to fix the order, and after around 10 mins the chicken was served again, but this time it was visibly burnt, and once I cut the chicken , it felt like cutting wood as there's no edible meat already as all the chicken meat were overcooked. Chicken was obviousl…
